Beverly Gibson

Beverly Ann Gibson (Ms. Bev), age 76, of Royce City, Texas, passed away Thursday, July 18, 2019. She was born January 21, 1944, in Indianapolis, Indiana, and raised in North Salem, Indiana, by her late parents John and Francis Beeson. Ms. Bev was preceded in death by her loving husband Dale Gibson whom she was married for 37 years, and her brother Johnny Beeson.

Ms. Bev is survived by her sisters, Leola Gregory, Sara Long, Peggy Guildner, Linda Graham, Louise Trinkle, and JoEllen Beeson; daughter Mindy Disheroon, and her husband, Kelly Disheroon; grandchildren, Kole and Kollin Disheroon, along with three stepchildren Sara, Brian and Brad, their children, and a host of other nieces, nephews, and family members.

Ms. Bev served her community by working at several nursing home facilities in Arkansas and Texas. She was also employed by the Air Force/Army Exchange, and worked at Tyson Foods in Berryville, AR for many years. Ms. Bev recognized Jesus Christ as her Lord & Savior, and she and Dale worshipped at Northside Missionary Baptist Church in Berryville, AR before moving to Texas and becoming members of Ridgeview Church in Rockwall, TX. Anyone who had the honor to know Ms. Bev will always remember her love for family, crafts, music, playing the piano, and unwavering loyalty to her friends. Many have been blessed by her involvement in their lives. Family and friends mourn her passing.

A viewing will be held between 5pm – 7pm, Thursday, July 25, 2019. A celebration of Ms. Bev’s life will be held at 10:00 am Friday, July 26, 2019, both located at Smith Family Funeral Home, 609 W. Main Street, Green Forest, AR 72638. Flowers may be sent to the funeral home or in lieu of flowers please donate to the charity of your choice. Interment will follow at Gobbler Cemetery.
