Donald Leon White

Donald Leon White, age 77, of Oak Grove, AR went home to be with the Lord September 7, 2019. The son of Lee and Polly (Carr) White was born January 3, 1942 at Blue Eye, Missouri.

 Donald was raised in Blue Eye, Missouri along with his 6 siblings. He attended Blue Eye High School and graduated in 1960. On June 15, 1963 he married the love of his life, Lula Robinette. They grew chickens for Tysons on their farm in Oak Grove. In his younger years Donald enjoyed hunting, fishing and carpenter work. He loved playing cards and was known as a card-shark and skilled domino player. Donald’s faith was very important to him. He and Lula attended Blue Eye Baptist Church and Holiday Island Baptist Church

 He is survived by his “chosen” children, Johnny Bilyeu and wife Gina of Oak Grove, Rhonda Brantner and husband Charlie of Oak Grove and Tammy Walker of Conway, AR , grandson, Joshua Brantner and wife Tiffany and their 3 children, Lilly, Miley and Wyatt and his brother, Robert White and wife Lynda of Gravette, AR.

 He is preceded in death by his wife Lula White, parents Lee and Polly White, one sister, Trevalee Lansdown and 4 brothers, Joe, Jimmy, Ray and R.V. White.

 Celebration Of Life Services will be 2:00 PM Thursday, September 12, 2019 at Blue Eye Cemetery with Kenny Robinette officiating. Interment will follow at Blue Eye Cemetery. Visitation will be 5-7 PM, Wednesday at Smith Family Funeral Home in Green Forest. Memorials may be made to Gideon’s International, P.O.
