Ina Mae Disheroon Obituary

Ina Mae Bell Disheroon, age 92, of Harrison, AR left this world on April 22, 2019 for her Eternal Home where she is now residing  forever with her Savior and Lord Jesus Christ.  Ina was born February 14, 1927, Osage, AR, daughter of James Frank and Mattie Thorne Bell (she was born again in 1946).  She graduated from Alpena High School in 1945 and on May 1st of that year she married Earl Disheroon. After living in OK for a short time they moved back to AR, bought a farm and a business called Carrollton Store. In 1993 they built a home in Harrison, AR and have lived there ever since.   Ina Mae was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother, always putting others needs first. At age 51 she fulfilled her lifelong dream of being a nurse and worked at NARMC  for a number of years before volunteering at several care facilities including Hillcrest and Hospice. She loved reading, painting, sewing, writing, cooking and especially loved teaching God’s Word. One of her favorite Bible verses was Matthew 6:33.  She was a charter member of Osage Baptist Church for over 50 years teaching Sunday School most of those years and working in various other capacities of the church. Shortly after moving to Harrison she and Earl hosted a Bible Study in their home as they continued attending Osage Baptist Church.  Ina had a unique ability to make people feel at home and welcome.   So every Wednesday, for over 18 years, she thoroughly enjoyed inviting people into their home where she taught, cooked and served others.  Ina leaves  behind her husband of 74 years (May 1st 2019) Earl Disheroon and four children:  Ginger Reed and husband Joe of Kilgore, TX; Mike Disheroon and wife Pam of Carrollton, AR; Cindy Fehrman and husband Steve of Lusby, MD; Susan Gloor and husband OJ of Harrison and one sister Johnny Moore of Berryville. She had 19 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her parents and one pre-born child. Celebration Of Life will be 10:00 AM Friday, April 26, 2019 at Osage Baptist Church with Pastor Lannie Younger officiating. Interment will follow at Fair Grove Cemetery.  Visitation will be 6-8 PM Thursday April 25th  at Smith Family Funeral Home in Green Forest.   In lieu of flowers, Ina requested memorials to Osage Baptist Church, Gideon’s, Ron Hutchcraft Ministries, or Hospice in Harrison.
