James Douglas Davis

James Douglas Davis, age 63, of Parsons, KS, formerly of Berryville, AR passed away Saturday, December 7, 2019. He was born March 18, 1956,  son of Albert and Rosie (Grooms) Davis.

On July 24, 1976 James was united in marriage with Marilyn (Lawrence) Davis and to this union 2 daughters were born.

He was employed for a number of years at Tyson Foods in Berryville and also had worked at Die Casting manufacturing. He loved going fishing and hunting, looking for arrow heads and spending time with his grandkids family and friends.

James is survived by 2 daughters, Robyn Phillips and husband Eddie of Alpena, Tracey Jones and husband David of Berryville, grandchildren, Blake Edward Jones, Katelyn Ann Jones, Isabella May Phillips and Searra Lea Phillips, sisters, JoAnn and husband Jr, Wilma Mae Kyles and brother, Alvin Ray all of Harriett, AR and a number of nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his wife Marilyn, his parents, brothers, Claude and Mack, sister, Nelsie and one grandson Christer Jones.

Celebration Of Life will be 10:00 AM Thursday, December 12, 2019 at Smith Family Funeral Home in Green Forest with Pastor Josh Shields officiating. Interment will be at Blue Eye Cemetery. Visitation will be 5-7 PM Wednesday, December 11, 2019 at Smith Family Funeral Home.
