Ronald Edward Deertz

Ronald Edward Deertz, age 74, of Green Forest, AR passed away Friday, November 8, 2019 in Rogers, AR. He was born on October 7, 1945 in Rawlins, WY son of Fredrick and Frances Deertz. 

Ronald was a Veteran of the U.S. Air Force.  He loved the outdoors and spent a lot of time outside working on his trike, visiting friends, watching birds, or talking on his CB radio. He loved all animals but was crazy about his girls Breezy and Misty. He enjoyed fixing things and building things.  He especially enjoyed helping at Guardian Angels 4 Kids. 

He is survived by his life-long partner Patricia McKenzie of Green Forest, children, Charles Deertz  of Green Forest, Dawn Deertz of Green Forest, Jackie Deertz  (Heidi) of Fayetteville, Mark Foster and wife Andrea of Elkins, AR. A number of grandchildren, Nathan Deertz and wife Heather, Jessi Deertz, Fredrick Deertz, Alvin Lawrence, Megan Walker, husband Ramsey, Leyton Deertz and wife Betsy, Christen Wilson and husband Onelio, Abbigail Foster and Hunter Foster. He was a papa to many great-grandchildren, Kadee, Chloe, Zoey, Brayden, Jace Deertz, Ivee, Spencer, Acelyn, Braylee, Jace Lawrence, Kathryn, Paisley, Reagan and one on the way.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his daughter Elaine Deertz, one brother, Frederic Deertz, sister,  Dorothy Blevins, grandson Edward "Eddie" Deertz, great-granddaughters Chloe and Zoey Deertz.
