Alice A. Bjork, age 92, passed away on Tuesday, October 20, 2020. She was born in Lego, West Virginia on July 28, 1928 to Thomas and Leola Alderman.
Alice was raised on a dairy farm with ten brothers and sisters. She worked different jobs in her lifetime, including Chrysler in Belvidere, Illinois as a test driver of new cars, and at Tyson Chicken Plant in Berryville, Arkansas on the line.
Alice was of Pentecostal faith and loved her church very much, where she was a member of the Denver Church.
Alice married William Henderson June 1945, and remained married until his passing in 1981. She later married Bert Bjork in March 1982, and remained so until his passing in 2004.
Alice is survived by three daughters, Donna Richardson, and husband Bill of Rockford, Illinois, Linda Lambert of McHenry, Illinois, Dale Smith, and husband Bill of Rockton, Illinois, Two sons, Richard Henderson, and wife Patty of Tulsa, Oklahoma, David Henderson, Eureka Springs, Arkansas.
She is also survived by one brother, Gene Alderman of Southgate, Michigan, and three sisters, Betty Clemens of Texas, Patty Workman of California, and Judy Turcheha of Virginia, 10 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
Alice was proceeded in death by one son, Billy Ray Henderson, one daughter Della Pauley, husband William Henderson and husband, Bert Bjork.
