Angela Gallion Obituary

Angela Dale Gallion, age 37, passed away February 8, 2022, at her home in Ridgedale, Missouri.

She was born November 19, 1984, in Springfield, Missouri, a daughter of Arlin “Stormy” Gallion and Louise Anderson Newman.

Angela grew up in Blue Eye, Missouri.  She attended Blue Eye Elementary, Middle, and High School, where she graduated as a member of Blue Eye High School "Class of 2003.”  She currently resided in Ridgedale and was employed at Casey’s gas station in Hollister, Missouri.

From childhood “Angie” loved the outdoors.  As an adult she enjoyed time spent on float trips, camping, and kayaking.  She always had a soft spot in her heart for all of God’s creatures.  She provided a caring home for a variety of usual and unusual pets.  Angie had a lifelong love of books.  Her interests spanned a long list of subjects.  She was always ready to join and enlighten any conversation.

Her greatest joy and number one love, however, was being a mother.  Her daughter Willow brought her absolute love and total enjoyment.  Willow filled her days with love and glory that only a mother can know.

Angela is preceded in death by her father, Arlin Dale “Stormy” Gallion. She is survived by her 2-year-old daughter, Willow Rain Gallion and her mother, Louise Newman both of the home. She is also survived by one brother, Larry Alan Newman and his wife, Tamara, of Blue Eye, Missouri; one nephew, Wyatt Sheridan Newman, of Nixa, Missouri; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

While we mourn her loss, she will forever remain in our hearts and our memories.  It is said ‘If you love someone with your heart and soul, a piece of them will live forever in your soul and they will see what you see.”  With Willow, Louise, Larry, and Wyatt, Angie has a lot of creeks and rivers, books, and animals yet to see.
