Anna Lea Tharp, age 84, of Lampe, MO departed this life on Monday, December 10, 2018. She was born November 10, 1934 in Lampe, daughter of Charles and Mildred (Newman) Clevenger.

Anna was united in marriage with Truman Leroy Tharp in February 1951. She was a homemaker and devoted wife and mother. When Anna wasn’t busy with family and friends her time was devoted to serving others. She was a member of Blue Eye Free Will Baptist Church for a number of years and had served as Mayor of Blue Eye. Anna loved people, never met a stranger, and was quick to strike up a conversation with anyone. Her hobbies were painting and finding bargains at all the yard sales.

Anna is survived by her sons, Danny Tharp and wife Rhonda of Lampe, Charles Tharp of Blue Eye, grandchildren, Rachel Tharp and fiance Darren Parker of Lampe, Kristen Wilson and husband Greg of Green Forest, Kaci Tharp of Blue Eye, Brianna Johnson of Fayetteville and Tommy Blewett of Green Forest, great-grandchildren, Dayton Parker, Phoenix Wilson and Anna Lea, Thomas, Trenton, Abigail and Ashlyn Blewett.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Leroy Tharp, son, Kevin Tharp and daughter Teresa Johnson.

Celebration Of Life will be 2:00 PM Thursday, December 13, 2018 at Mt. Olivet Free Will Baptist Church in Blue Eye, MO with Brother Freddie Blevins officiating. Interment will follow at Blue Eye Cemetery. Visitation will be 1:00-2:00 PM Thursday, December 13, 2018 before the service begins.
