Barry Cleaver

Barry Arthur Cleaver met his Lord and Savior on December 24, 2021. His final days were spent at home surrounded by his loving family.  He was born on May 8, 1964, to Elton Arthur Cleaver and Patricia Elaine Pangburn Cleaver.  He met his loving wife, Jeanette, at the age of 14. 

Barry had a servant heart and left a positive light on all those he came into contact with.  He loved his work and running the family business, Cleaver Farm & Home. He was the proud Papa Barry to Mosston, Parker, Jessi Lynne, and Katy Ruth.  He was excited when Matt told him he was gaining another grandchild later next year. 

Barry is preceded in death by his parents.  He is survived by his wife, Jeanette Cleaver, a son and daughter in law, Matt and Kamri Cleaver, a daughter and son in law, Leah and Cody Villines; four grandchildren, Mosston, Parker, Jessi Lynne, and Katy Ruth; and one grandchild on the way. 

He fought till the end and knew that no matter the outcome, someone would be helped by his testimony.  One thing Dad would want you to be sure of was where you were going to spend eternity.  God can bring us beauty from ashes, peace in the sorrow, and oil of joy.  God can mold us into his likeness for use and a purpose that we can’t ignore.  Isaiah 61:3

Barry’s wishes were to have a private graveside, and we were able to make that happen.  He wanted to give his friends and family the opportunity to join in his memory and celebrate his life and the legacy he left behind.  We will have a memorial service on Saturday, January 15th, 2022, at the Madison County Fair Grounds, from 2-4pm.  All are welcome to attend.  In lieu of flowers, the family asks if you would like to make a donation that it be made to Samaritan’s Purse or the 2nd Milk Foundation.
