Betty Jo Allen, 75, of Berryville, AR began her earthly journey on September 29, 1942 in Berryville. She was the eldest child of Lowell Dean and Dora Lee (Clevenger) Butler. She went to be with the Lord on Tuesday September 4, 2018, in Springfield, MO.

Betty attended Blue Eye Schools and on July 4, 1959, she was united in marriage with Jimmie Allen. She was employed at La Barge in Berryville as a Logistics Supervisor for a number of years. She was a loving, devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Betty enjoyed sewing, crafts, antiques and her grandchildren. She was a charter member of the Berryville Free Will Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband of 59 years, Jimmie Allen of the home, son, Michael Allen and wife Kim of Green Forest, daughter, Debra Lyn Allen of Springfield, MO, grandchildren, Austin Allen and wife McKenzie of Russellville, AR and Kyle Allen of Green Forest.

She is preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Billy Dean Butler and sister, Peggy Ann Blackston.

Celebration Of Life Service will be 1:00 PM Friday, September 7, 2018, at Blue Eye Free Will Baptist Church with Pastor Dwayne Generaux and Pastor Lannie Younger officiating. Interment will follow at Blue Eye Cemetery. Visitation will be 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM Friday before the service begins.
