Betty Moore, 76, of Green Forest, AR., passed away July 13, 2009 in her home, with her family by her side. She was born September 18, 1932, in Boone County AR., daughter of Marion Graves and Mary Jane Gifford Graves. On March 3, 1948, she was united in marriage to Myerl Moore and to this union two children were born. She was a member of Green Forest United Methodist Church, St. Johns Hospital Auxiliary and order of the Eastern Star. She was a loving wife, mother, sister and friend. Betty had a gift and ability for uplifting and helping anyone in need. She, along with her husband, volunteered at St. Johns. Hospital Thrift Store for over 14 years. In her spare time she enjoyed sewing, crocheting and needlework. Betty is survived by her husband Myerl Moore, of the home, son Edward Lee Moore, daughter Carol Stillwell, of Webb City, Mo. one sister Fern Ohler, of Alpena, one brother Robert Graves and wife Bonnie, of Sapulpa, Oklahoma, five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, five brothers, Carl, Jim, J.D., Johnny and Clyde Graves and one sister, Cora Bell Presley. Celebration of Life Services, 10:00 A.M., Thursday, July 16, 2009 at Green Forest United Methodist Church with Pastor Donnie Hudson officiating.
