Billy Dale (Bill) Snow passed away Thursday, February 3rd, 2022, in Hollister, Missouri at the age of 73.
He was born at home October 11th, 1948, to the late Rayburn Snow and Essie (Bailey) Snow in Carroll County. He attended Alpena School and lived most of his life in Carroll County.
Bill was a member of North Ark Church of Christ, being baptized into Christ on August 21st, 2017. When he became a Christian, it was the happiest time of his life, and he would always say, “I’m a brand-new Man.” He was so faithful to attend Church services as long as his health permitted.
His favorite past time was sitting on his front porch drinking coffee and watching the deer and wild turkey in his front yard and watching his westerns. He loved spending time with his brothers, laughing and telling stories of their years growing up together. He also loved his sisters and loved their cooking, especially his favorite: fried potatoes and deer meat.
Bill was a man of many talents: He was a Master Welder and Heavy Equipment Operator, working many years for Crouse construction and Jimmy Jones Construction. He also worked several years with his brother Tommy at Snow Electric.
Before his stroke, he loved playing his guitar and singing, hunting, and fishing.
He is preceded in death by his parents, brother Fred (Sonny) Snow, and sister Ruthie Smith.
He is survived by 3 Brothers, JR (Fairye) Snow and Tommy Snow of Green Forest, Rick (June) Snow of Alpena; 5 sisters, Shirley Baughman, Edith (LD) Blevins and Phyllis (Ron) McNair all of Harrison, Wilma (Dan) Ohler of Alpena, and Laura (Rob) Fraraccio of Rogers; 1 daughter, Vickie Kelly of Green Forest; and 1 son, Billy Snow of Berryville. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, Travis Kelley Jr., Ciera Kelley, Caitlin Kelley, Ernesto Snow, Brianna Snow, Arthur Snow, Alex Snow, Karina Snow, Diana Snow, Maria Snow, and Mia Snow; 1 great granddaughter, Kendall Fouch; and a host of Nieces and Nephews and many friends. He was loved so much and will be missed by many.
Celebration of Life services will be 2:00 PM Wednesday, February 9th, 2022, at Smith Family Funeral Home in Green Forest with Brother Pat Mannon officiating. Interment will follow at Alpena Cemetery. Visitation will be 1:00-2:00 PM before the service.
