Billy Wray Bumpus

Bill (Billy) Wray Bumpus, age 79, of Green Forest AR, passed away Wednesday, February 19, 2020. He was born on September 13th 1940  in Yuba City, CA, son of James and Greta (Wilcox) Bumpus.

 Bill was a loving father, grandfather and brother. He retired from Tyson Foods in 2003 and worked for Car Mart up until his passing. He enjoyed spending time with his family and working on his projects. He was always one to make others laugh, he would tell jokes all day long just to bring a smile to a face.

Bill is survived by his children, sons, Lonny Bumpus and wife Becky, Fletcher Bumpus and wife October, and Jason Bumpus, daughter Patricia (Shelly) Bowers,  nine grandkids, Julie Novovesky, Nicholaus Kardeke, Lacey Bowers, Chanci Fondren, Heather Bumpus, Matthew Bumpus, Jacob Bumpus, Emma Bumpus and Paislee Bumpus, as well as three great grandkids, Lily, Levi, Liam Kardeke, three brothers, Robert Bumpus and wife Betty, Jim Bumpus and wife Mattie, Jerry Bumpus and a number of nieces and nephews.

Bill is preceded in death by his wife Juanita Bumpus, parents, James and Greta Bumpus, brother Richard (Dick) Bumpus, son-in-law Cody Bowers, infant sister Patricia Bumpus and grandson Michael Coffman.

Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to Smith Family Funeral Home in Green Forest, AR.
