Brenda Starr Wallace Exley was born January 30, 1948, in Gonzales, Texas. She was the daughter of Ben Roy and Hildegarde Wallace.
She married Richard Exley on June 10, 1966, and spent her entire married life in ministry. Brenda was the consummate minister’s wife and served with Richard as pastors of five congregations and co-led more than 200 marriage seminars and conferences with him. She had a special gift of making everyone feel loved and valued.
She is survived by her husband, her daughter Leah Starr Baker and husband Douglas, her granddaughter Alexandria Starr Giallonardo and husband Brandon, grandson Deuce Baker, sister Linda Wallace Thompson, many nieces and nephews and a host of friends. Brenda was preceded in death by her parents.
Brenda went to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, August 25, 2022, while being cared for at the Circle of Life Hospice facility in Bentonville, Arkansas.
The Celebration of her life and Memorial Service will be at The Church on the Hill in Berryville, Arkansas on Friday, September 2, at 11:00 am. Missionary and Pastor Donald Exley will be officiating assisted by Pastor Keith Butler.
