Brenton Maxwell Obituary

Brenton Paul Maxwell, known affectionately as Brent by his loved ones, passed away on July 24, 2024, in Rogers, Arkansas, due to a heart attack. Born on April 1, 1985, in Morgantown, West Virginia, Brent's zest for life and his unwavering spirit left an indelible mark on all who knew him.

The beloved son of Harold (Steve) Maxwell and Carolyn (Sue) Maxwell, and stepson to Eugene Souza, Brent grew up in a family where love and laughter were the foundations of life. Brent's journey through life, although cut short, was one filled with the joy and camaraderie of a close-knit family.

He was a cherished brother to Melinda Maxwell and Gaven Maxwell, and a special love to his partner Rose Schuler. He held a special place in the hearts of his brothers-in-law, John Collins, and Terry Hankins II. His sister Michele Maxwell, who predeceased him, no doubt welcomed him with open arms.

The legacy of Brent's kind and playful spirit lives on through his children, Jasmine, Taven, and Blade Maxwell, who were the center of his universe. He was a loving uncle to his nephews Peyton Collins, married to Courtney Collins, and Creed Maxwell, as well as his nieces Eliza Maxwell, Jada Hankins, Kiya Hankins, and Ivi Hankins.

He was preceded in death by his sister Michele Maxwell and his grandparents, Edgar and Goldie Phillips, Harold and Margie Maxwell, and step-grandmother Phyllis Maxwell, as well as his aunts Rose Shawyer and Eva Fravel.

Despite facing the challenge of disability, Brent never allowed it to dim his passion for life. He enjoyed fishing, watching wrestling That '70s Show, Family Guy and Dragon Ball Z. He also loved music, playing football with the kids, playing video games and riding four-wheelers.

Brent's departure from this world leaves a void that can never be filled. Yet, his spirit, the memories shared, and the love he spread will continue to resonate with all who had the privilege of knowing him.
