Carroll Molder Obituary

Carroll Dewie Molder, age 82, of Green Forest, passed away peacefully at his home on Friday, October 18, 2024. He was born September 26, 1942, in Green Forest to Sammie and Thelma Collier Molder.

Known for his sense of humor, hard work ethic, and love for his family, friends, and community, Carroll lived a full and blessed life. On July 3, 1975, he married the love of his life, Patricia Gray, and together they made their home in Green Forest. He worked for the city of Green Forest for several years before he started his own business, Molder Backhoe. After working on the pipeline for several years, he returned home to his business where he was sought after by so many for his services. He loved being on his backhoe to help people.

Carroll had many hobbies, including woodworking crafts where he made projects for family and friends. He enjoyed working a large garden every year, for it reminded him of the garden his family had when he was growing up. He and Pat enjoyed traveling. He was a member of the United Baptist Church in Green Forest. He was also a veteran of the U.S. Army.

Carroll is survived by his wife of 49 years, Pat (Gray) Molder, 2 brothers, Dale and wife Donna of Sacramento, CA, and Larry and wife Sandy Molder of Bakersfield, CA, sister Janet Patrick of Ozark, MO, sister-in-law Margie Bailey of Alpena, cousin and caregiver Dorothy Johnson, as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents Sammie and Thelma Molder, 3 brothers, Roger Molder, Russell Molder, and Sam Molder, and 2 sisters, Virginia Molder and Emma Hemingway.

Carroll will be deeply missed by his family and friends. We know where he is now… asking the Good Lord where he can start digging!
