Charles B Donaldson

Charles B. Donaldson, age 73, of Green Forest, AR passed away Monday, January 24, 2022.  Charles died peacefully in his home, with his wife, Judy, by his side.  He was born December 1, 1948, in Odessa, TX son of JB and Julia (Burnett) Donaldson.

Charles graduated from Berryville High School in 1967 and later received his mechanics certification from Vo-Tech in Harrison.  Charles entered the Marine Corp. in 1970 and was stationed at Camp Pendleton, CA.  Charles’s career spans 35 years of pipelining and he eventually became a purchasing agent for Sheehan Pipeline Construction Company.

On June 13, 1970, he was united in marriage to Judy Norman.  They have been faithful members of the Green Forest First Assembly of God Church where he served in different capacities over the years.  In his spare time, Charles enjoyed restoring classic cars and attending car shows.  He loved giving everyone a hard time, telling jokes and laughing as much as possible.  He has had many friends both on the pipeline and in the classic car world.  He loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Charles is preceded in death by his parents and two half-sisters. 

He is survived by his wife Judy Donaldson; 3 children, Cindy Clark and husband Shawn of Belvidere, IL, Christy Craig and husband Rick of Bentonville, AR, and Wesley Donaldson of Green Forest; niece Mendy Thusfeld of Wisconsin; 14 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.  Also mourning the loss of Charles is all of Judy’s family, his nieces and nephews, and many dear friends.

Celebration of Life will be 10:00 AM Friday, January 28, 2022, at First Assembly of God Church in Green Forest with Pastor Mark Bryant officiating.  Interment will follow at Pickins Cemetery. Visitation will be 5-7 PM Thursday at First Assembly of God Church.
