Charles (Chuck) Luney of Shell Knob, Missouri, left this life on February 4, 2025.
Chuck was born on May 1, 1943, in Cassville, Missouri, the son of Kenneth Luney and Nadine (Cooper) Allison. He was raised by his late step- father, David Raymond Allison, whom he loved as his own father, and Nadine Allison, his mother.
Chuck was united in marriage to Judy Shuey on February 10, 1965, in Miami, Oklahoma.
Chuck served in the U.S. Army 1965 thru 1967. He was awarded many written commendations and was awarded the Army Commendation Medal for meritorious service. He retired from Fasco Industries in 1992 and had served their as their Information Technology supervisor and head computer programmer. He got to do his dream job by singing professionally in a Gospel Group.
Chuck was a member of and very active at Church On The Hill, Berryville, Arkansas.
He was preceded in death by four brothers: Donald Allison, Robert (Bob) Allison, David Allison and Ronald Allison.
Chuck is survived by his wife Judy and three children: Renae Luney of Shell Knob, Todd Luney and wife Michelle of Saginaw, Texas and daughter Paige and husband Alex of Lewisville, Texas; Chris Luney of Springfield, Missouri; Callista Luney daughter-in-law of Springfield, Missouri; and honorary daughter Karina Stegall of Shell Knob, Missouri.
Celebration Of Life Memorial service will be 10:00 AM Saturday, February 15, 2025, at Church On The Hill, 907 South Main Street, Berryville, Arkansas, with Pastor Keith Butler officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hwy 62 Youth Ministry at Church On The Hill.
