Christine Crystal Marshall

Christine Marshall, 81, of Berryville, passed away on October 1, 2023. She was born December 31, 1941, to Jerry and Sadie (Scarborough) Simpson.

Christine attended school at Green Forest High School, graduating in 1960. She married James Marshall and moved to Berryville. She enjoyed quilting and cheering on local sports teams, and she was a member of the Extension Homemakers Club. But most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her family.

Christine is preceded in death by her husband James Marshall, parents Jerry and Sadie Simpson, brother Dean Simpson, brother Frank Simpson, and grandson Travis Cox.

She is survived by her 6 sons, Jimmie Cox and wife Becky, Lenny Cox and wife Angela, Robert Cox and wife Vicki, Steve Marshall and wife Tereasia, Jeff Marshall and wife Nancy, and Jamie Marshall and wife Dianna, grandchildren Jessica Brown, Joshua Marshall, Justin Marshall, Jamie Marshall, Ross Marshall, Kyna Marshall, Toni Jean Marshall, Charles Cox, and Clarissa Cox, as well as several great grandchildren. She is also survived by her beloved dog Petie Joe.

Celebration of Life service for Christine will be Saturday, October 7 at 2:00 PM at First Assembly of God Church in Green Forest with Pastor Mark Bryant and Pastor Chris Villines officiating. Interment will follow at Rule Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday, October 6 from 5-7 PM at Smith Family Funeral Home in Green Forest.
