Darrell Cox

Darrel Cox, age 79, of Green Forest, AR passed away on December 6, 2019 at Circle Of Life Hospice in Springdale, AR. He was born January 1, 1940 in La Cygne, Kansas son of Francis and Vivian (Kerr) Cox. 

On February 17, 1960 he was united in marriage with Marjorie Cothren. 

 Darrel was a contractor installing poultry equipment for many years before retiring. He was quite the jokester and prankster. He was loved greatly by his family and will be missed by all who knew him. 

He is survived by 3 daughters, Debra Munn of Eldon, MO, Melinda Hagen of Springdale, AR and Sheila Wright of Springdale,  2 sisters, Darlene Morrison of Prescot, AZ and Kay Blythe of Fort Scott ,KS, grandchildren Jeff Adams of Springdale, Daniel Wright of Springdale,  Jessica Blackston of Green Forest, Christy Walker of Springdale, Samantha Munn of Eldon, MO, Sherry Mason of Eldon,  numerous great-grandchildren and a few great-great grandchildren. 

 He was preceded in death by his wife Marjorie Cox, one brother and one granddaughter. 

Graveside Service will be 11:00 AM Wednesday December 11, 2019 at Ward Cemetery with interment following. Visitation will be 9:30-10:30, Wednesday, December 11, 2019 at Smith Family Funeral Home in Green Forest.
