David Dewitt Armer, age 40, of Gladstone, Oregan, formerly for Berryville, AR, passed away on July 20, 2026. He was born April 26, 1986, in Berryville, AR, to Cecil John Armer and Linda Kay (Wilson) Armer.

David was raised in the Dean and Metalton communities in Arkansas, and he attended school at Berryville and then Kingston where he graduated. After graduation he moved to Reno, NV, where he graduated from college with a bachelor’s degree while working full time on a llama ranch. He eventually settled in the Portland, Oregan area where he worked as a probation officer, and working with show llamas. David’s love for animals started at a very young age and it never ceased.

David is survived by his parents Cecil and Linda Armer, aunts Loretta Ross, Mildred Wilson, Adine Wilson, Vannoy Wilson, Pat Armer and her husband Jerry, uncle Don Wilson and his wife Jane, and many cousins.

He is preceded in death by grandparents Dewey and Margie Bartlett Armer, and Frank and Lillie Wilson.
