David Ray Proctor, age 60, of Green Forest, passed away with family by his side on December 9, 2025. He was born July 23, 1965, in Harrison, AR, to James and Kathryn Tanksley Proctor, the 14th of 15 children.

David lived a full and fun life, even though his years on earth were cut short. He made every part of life an adventure, from playing pitch and shooting pool, to watching Razorback and Cowboys football, to riding his side by side. And of course, he enjoyed time with his friends. He was personable and had an infectious laugh that caused people to gravitate toward him and enjoy being around him and his adventures. To David, friends were family; he was known to be a “friend to all, stranger to none.”

David was blessed with a career to enjoy working on something he was deeply passionate about, cars. He loved old cars and he was the proud owner of a 1969 Chevelle and a 1970 Chevelle. He was the owner of 311 Auto Body in Green Forest where he enjoyed helping people to rebuild and restore their vehicle. To David, it was not a job, it was his way of helping his community and being a part of their life.

David loved wholeheartedly, especially his 2 daughters Lacie and Tiffany, and his 8 grandchildren. He loved to spend every moment with them that he possibly could. They were truly the center of his world. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends.

David is survived by his daughters, Lacie (Wayne) Lynch of Hollister, MO, and Tiffany Davis of Houston, TX; step-daughter Leah (Chet) Siebert of Green Forest, AR; grandchildren Alexia, Alivia, Andrew, Trevor, Chloe, Jaxson, Hunter, and Hayden; siblings Gary Reeves of Round Mtn., Tx, Jenett Garrett of Blue Eye, MO, Kathy Plumlee of Jay, OK, Joyce Pittman of Harrison, AR, Felicia Knight of Mtn. Home, AR, Sharon Bilby of Grove, OK, Roy Proctor of Grove, OK, Randy Proctor of Siloam Springs, AR, Bonnie Buzzard of Grove, OK, Roger Proctor of Grove, OK, Jim Proctor of Jay, OK, and Richard Proctor of Georgetown, TX.

He is preceded in death by his parents, James and Kathryn Proctor; siblings Curtis Easley and Carolyn Proctor; nephew Brian Proctor; and niece Amy Villines.

Celebration of Life will be 11 AM – 1 PM at 311 Auto Body, 3707 Hwy. 311, north of Green Forest, on Saturday, December 13, 2025, and a private family celebration will begin at 1 PM.
