Debbie Kennedy

Debbie Lynn Kennedy, age 56, of Green Forest, AR passed from this life on Tuesday, April 13, 2021. She was born in Harrison, AR on June 23, 1964 to Harold and Loreen Wheatley.

Debbie had a passion for children and education. She worked in childcare for over 20 years caring for preschoolers in both her in-home daycare, in the communities where she lived. She loved crafting and baking with her grandkids. Debbie enjoyed gospel music and attending revivals whenever possible. She loved her family and anything revolving around her children and grandkids. 

Debbie is survived by her husband, Michael Kennedy, they were married on January 9, 2013 at Osage, AR. She is also survived by her children, Kiesha Doss of Rogers, AR and her children Hunter, Perry and Millie; Whitney Rogers of Harrison, AR; Jamie Bellinger of Fayetteville, AR and his wife Melinda and son Ezra; her father and step-mother, Harold and Carolyn Wheatley; her siblings, Craig Wheatley and wife Monique, Chandra (Wheatley) Beene and husband John, Brent Wheatley and wife Marchane; as well as several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends. 

Debbie is proceeded in death by her mother Lorene Wheatley; her grandparents John and Ruth Douglas and Orly and Elizabeth (Lizzy) Wheatley.

Visitation will be at Smith Family Funeral Home Chapel on Friday, April 16th from 4-6 PM with Celebration of Life Service following at 6 PM.
