Obituary

Delbert James Miller, age 79, of Green Forest, AR passed away on Saturday, May 13, 2023, at Meadow View Nursing Home in Huntsville, AR. He was born August 8, 1943, in Springdale, AR to Alf and Chloe Miller.

On December 7, 1963, he was married to the love of his life, Hazel (Howard) Miller who preceded him in death. Three children were born from this bond, James, Stacy, and Tommy Miller.

Delbert retired from Highland Dairy in Fayetteville, AR after nearly 40 years. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and always loved to sit and tell stories of the BIG one or the one that got away. Delbert enjoyed working on cars. He spent a lot of time rebuilding Volkswagens. People would come from near and far to get him to diagnose and/ or fix their vehicles.

He was preceded in death by his mother and father and his sister Clara Mae as well as his beloved Hazel.

Delbert is survived by his 3 sons, numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren who will miss him sorely.

Celebration of Life gathering will be 5-7 PM, Friday, May 19, 2023, at Smith Family Funeral Home in Green Forest.
