Ed Thompson

Edward “Ed” Daniel Thompson, age 69 of Osage, passed away at home on Sunday, April 23, 2023. He was born June 7, 1953, in Merced, CA to Walter and Peggy Thomas Thomason.

On July 16, 1977, Ed married Francine Greco and together they had 2 children. He did auto body work for much of his career. He enjoyed woodworking, hunting and fishing. He and Francine loved their retirement home in Osage, and they enjoyed making crafts to sell at local events. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force.

Ed is survived by his wife Francine of the home, son, David Thompson and his wife Joan of Branson, MO, daughter Jacklyn Thompson of California, and 3 grandchildren, Lance, Gage, and Audrianna. He is preceded in death by his parents.

A private family burial will take place at Fayetteville National Cemetery in Fayetteville, AR. Online condolences can be made at smithfamilyfuneralhome.net.
