Eliece Maxine Clark, age 101, of Alpena, AR passed away Thursday, May 9, 2019. She was born to James Paul and Genevive (McGraw) Bailey, in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, on August 7, 1917. She was one of the 10 children, 4 girls and 6 boys. On February 21, 1941 she was united in marriage with Delbert Ross Clark and to this union 3 daughters were born.
Eliece was a homemaker and was also involved in being a caregiver for a number of years. Some of her great loves in life were her family, church, sewing, crocheting, doll making. and going to the Carroll County Senior Center. Her favorite saying was “Starting my day by reading the Bible is the only thing that makes my day go better."
Eliece is survived by her daughters, Carol Woodall and husband Ronnie of Alpena and, Geraldine Butler and husband Larry of Hawaii, grandchildren, Elaine Renee Snyder of Alpena, Jo Besse and husband Gary of Alpena, Skip LaFollette and wife Jamie of Alpena, Christian Butler of Seattle, great-grandchildren, Carol Usrey and husband Rick, Michael Besse, Rebekah May, Jason May, Vanessa Jetton and husband Wes, Tristan Snyder, Derek Snyder and wife Karen, Jessie Downs and husband Kyle, great-great-grandchildren, Ethan, Kenneth, Beau, Jayden, Nicholas, Xandra, Rhonnie, Bayleigh, Maycee, Phillip, Michael, Samantha, Brooklynn, Cole, Kaylynn, Laykin, Shaylon, Liam and numerous nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Delbert Ross Clark, one daughter, Nancy Emma Clark, siblings, Earl Bailey, Marvin Bailey, Mable Bailey, Nellie Bailey, Paul Bailey, Neal Bailey, Charles Bailey, Genevive Bailey , Delane Bailey and one great-great-grandson, Zerek Wesley Jetton.
Celebration Of Life memorial service will be 10:00 AM Monday, May 20, 2019 at Osage Baptist Church with Pastor Lannie Younger officiating.
