Ernesto Leonardo Lopez Ramirez

Ernesto Leonardo Lopez Ramirez, age 49, passed away on October 14, 2024. He was born in Guatemala on January 6, 1975, to Enrique Santiago Lopez Gonzalez and Filomena Ramirez.

Ernesto was a hardworking man who loved his family dearly. He was a good husband, father, and brother. He was also a Good Samaritan. He was a mechanic who enjoyed working on cars.

He is survived by his wife of the home, Carmen Lafarga; mother Filomena Ramirez; sons Kevin Lopez, Ernesto Lopez, and Alexis Lafarga; daughter Leslee Lopez; and siblings Hector Lopez, Herminia Lopez, Yuli Lopez, Silma Lopez, and Jorge Lopez.

He is preceded in death by his father and 1 brother, Roberto Lopez.

Celebration of Life service for Ernesto will be 6:00 PM, Friday, October 18, 2024, at Green Forest Church of Christ. Visitation will be 10 AM – 12 PM, Saturday, October 19, 2024, at Smith Family Funeral Home. Interment will follow the visitation at Fair Grove Cemetery.
