Eugene Anderson, passed away peacefully on July 25, 2024, at the age of 71 in Harrison, AR. Born on Independence Day in 1953 in Berryville, AR, to Paul and Sylvia Hattenhauer Anderson, Eugene's life was a testament to the values of hard work, family, and the simple joys of life.

Eugene married the love of his life, Judi Caffrey on November 23, 1980. He was a dairy farmer. He was an avid enthusiast of GTO cars, and he enjoyed taking them to car shows and showing them off to his family and friends. He also enjoyed riding motorcycles, collecting and watching movies, and joking around with his friends and family.

He is survived by his loving wife, Judi Anderson of the home, father Paul Anderson of Green Forest, son David and his wife Karen Anderson of Coin, brothers Jerry Anderson of Berryville, Harold Anderson of Idaho, Ronnie Anderson of Kansas, Donnie Anderson of Green Forest, Eddie Anderson of Kingston, and sister Linda Campbell of Green Forest. He is also survived by Doyle and his wife Angela Eddings of Harrison who was like a second son to him, and many nieces, nephews, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his mother Sylvia Anderson.

Celebration of Life service for Eugene will be 10:00 AM, Tuesday, July 30, 2024, at Smith Family Funeral Home in Green Forest with Rev. Jerry Scitern officiating.
