Francisco Vega Ponce

Francisco Ponce Vega, age 72, of Green Forest, AR passed away Wednesday, October 23, 2019.  He was born January 29, 1947 in Potrerillos Hidalgo, Mexico son of Gregory and Marina Ponce Vega.

On October 11, 2001 he was united in marriage with Brigida (Monrroy). Francisco worked at Green Forest Tyson Foods for a number of years.

He enjoyed watching movies and spending time with his family.

Francisco is survived by his wife Brigida Ponce Vega of the home, sons, Vincente Vega of Green Forest, Manuel Monrroy of Green Forest, Horacio Vega Sanchez of Mexico, daughters, Margarita Vega of Green Forest, Blanca Vega Sanchez of Mexico, brothers, Leocadio Marquez Ponce of Mexico, sisters, Lucina Ramirez Ponce, Estela Marquez Ponce, Victorina Marquez Ponce all of Mexico and granddaughter Arielle Vega.

Funeral Service will be Saturday 10:00 AM at Smith Family Funeral Home in Green Forest. Visitation will follow from 11:00 AM -12:00 noon.

Francisco will be taken back to Mexico to be buried in his home town, Potrerillos Hidalgo.
