Guin Logan

Alma Guinevere (Guin) Logan, age 85, of Green Forest, AR passed away March 11, 2026 in Harrison, AR. She was born on March 5, 1941, daughter of the late Mason and Gertrude (Gertie) Holland of Blue Eye, Mo. She was raised in the Blue Eye, Mo community and was a resident of Carroll County for many years. In February of 1965 she was united in marriage with Donald Logan. 

Guin enjoyed China painting, oil painting, and she loved to travel. She was a loving grandma and enjoyed playing games with the grandchildren. She tried to set an example of always being a good friend to others, be real and true to yourself and live life to the fullest.

She attended Towering Oaks Church. She is survived by a daughter-in-law, DeeAnn Schwyhart, step-daughter, Patty Maupin and husband Keith, step-grandchildren, Landon Logan and wife Melinda, Lance Logan and wife Sarah, and Tara Crowder and husband Rick. Step-great-grandchildren, Ladd and Larson Logan, Layton and Kenlee Logan, and Abby and Luca Crowder. 

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Donald Logan, son Vance Schwyhart, two sisters, Mary Swofford, and Joanne Salsman, step-son Russell Logan. 

A private family service has been planned. Interment will be at Rule Cemetery. Arrangements are by Smith Family Funeral Home. Online condolences can be made at smithfamilyfuneralhome.net.
