Helen Snow Obituary

Helen Epley Snow, of Green Forest, passed away on Friday, January 26, 2024. She was born July 8, 1953, in Denver, AR to Thaddeus and Audrey Anderson Epley. She graduated Green Forest High School, and she was a lifelong resident of Carroll County.

Known as a loving, caring and generous person, Helen had the biggest heart. She was always smiling and laughing with her distinguished laugh. Her life was filled with adventure and hard work. She loved brush hogging, morrell mushroom hunting, raising cattle, and doing the hay. She loved all animals, and she could raise anything from a deer to an opossum. After 20+ years of working at Tyson’s, she retired and then went to work at the post office where she worked for over 20 years and retired again.

Most of all, Helen loved her family. She was a loving mother to her children, and she not only raised her children, but she also raised their friends too. She was the rock that held her family together. And if you did something she didn’t like, she was quick to let you know… real quick! She was known to her grandchildren as “mamaw” and she loved those babies more than life itself.

Helen is survived by her children, Paula Dawn Snow of Beebe, AR, and Johnny Thad Snow of Green Forest, grandchildren Natosha Demeyer and her husband Cody of Green Forest, Weston Parton and Lexy of Green Forest, Kaylin Snow of Bella Vista, and Cullen Richardson of Green Forest. She is also survived by 7 great grandchildren, Hudson, Hyatt, Nola, Holden, Hixon, Hayes and Timber, as well as a host of extended family and special friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents Thaddeus and Audrey Epley, brother Gerald Epley, and infant sister Norma Epley.
