Ira John Bowman

Ira John Bowman, age 58, of Green Forest, AR passed away Friday, January 28, 2022.  He was born November 27,1963, in Little Rock, AR, son of John and Sue (Nelson) Bowman.

Ira grew up in the Green Forest area and attended Green Forest Schools.  He worked as a cook for a number of years and enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family.

Ira is survived by his children, Erica Nicole McFeeters and husband Josiah of Springdale, Heather Dawn Bowman and fiance Ben Nelson of Springdale, Phillip Bowman of Fort Sill, OK and Kaylesha Bowman; parents, John and Sue Bowman; one sister, Annette Phillips and husband Bud of Green Forest and many other family and friends who loved him dearly.

Celebration Of Life will be 2:00 PM Thursday, February 10, 2022, at Smith Family Funeral Home in Green Forest. Pastor Chris Villines and Pastor Jerry Spurlock will officiate with interment following at Alpena Cemetery. Visitation will be 1:00-2:00 PM before the service begins.
