Joetta Carol Youngblood, 73, of Alpena, AR, went to her heavenly home on July 5th, 2023. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and faithful child of God.
Joetta was born on September 21st, 1949, in Huntsville, AR, to Frank and Mary Lee Dickard. She grew up on their farm in Dry Fork, AR, and always enjoyed outdoor work. She graduated from Huntsville High School in the class of 1966.
On March 27th, 1967, she married the love of her life, Bill Youngblood. They first met as teenagers at the Osage Assembly of God, where they would raise their family and serve in every possible way. Later they became members of Green Forest 1st Assembly of God. In her service for the Lord, Joetta played the piano, sang, taught at every age level, and led Missionettes, Women’s Ministries, Kids Church, and countless other types of service.
Joetta loved doing yard work, baking sweets, bird watching, and spending time with her kids and grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents Frank and Mary Lee, and brother Doyn Ray Dickard of Harrison.
Joetta is survived by her husband, Bill Youngblood, sisters Nancy Armer and Brenda Dickard, son Billy Youngblood and wife Becky, son Jeremy Youngblood and wife Lucy, daughter Trudy Bartlett and husband John, and son Frankie Youngblood and wife Christen; 15 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, and countless family, friends, and neighbors.
Celebration Of Life service will be 10:00 AM Monday, July 10, 2023, at Green Forest First Assembly of God Church with Pastor Mark Bryant officiating. Interment will follow at Alpena Cemetery.
