Joey Wendell Jones of Combs, AR passed away on August 27, 2024. He was born July 12, 1964, in Leslie, AR to Wendell and Jacqueline Barnes Jones.

Joey was preceded in death by his father, Wendell Jones. He is survived by his sons, Preston Jones and Joshua Jones (Chris), his mother Jacqueline Jones, his brothers, Kevin Jones (Deidre), Steve Jones (Donna) and Mark Jones (Heather) and sisters, Tammy Harp and Trina Bonham (Kent). 

Joey had a strong work ethic and spent many years on the road driving a semi around the Arkansas hills. He also loved to ride his motorcycle exploring the backroads of Arkansas. He was an avid fisherman and spent a lot of his free time exploring the lakes and rivers of the Ozarks.

Celebration of Life service for Joey will be 10 AM, Saturday, August 31, 2024, at Smith Family Funeral Home in Green Forest with Pastor Keith Butler officiating. Interment will follow at York Cemetery in Bergman. Visitation will be 5-7 PM, Friday, August 30, 2024, at the funeral home. Online condolences can be made at www.smithfamilyfuneralhome.net.
