John Estep

John Junior Estep, age 81, of Berryville passed away on August 18, 2022. He was born September 19, 1940, in Berryville, the son of John William and Bessie Elizabeth Villines Estep.  

John enjoyed fishing and hunting all his life. He was known to be a hard worker and a simple man. He worked for Smith Tire Company for many years.

John is survived by 2 children, Carrie (Frank Briley) Jones of Berryville and Larry Estep of Berryville; 2 grandchildren, Jessica (Frank) Jennings Tavarez and their children Luke, Michael and Norah, and Brandie Briley and her children Daymian Crace, and Julianah Grey; and 2 sisters, Shirley Pyron of Springfield, MO and Wanda Monday of Harrison.

He is preceded in death by his parents John and Bessie Estep, 2 brothers, Efton and Arvil Estep, 1 sister, Ethel Tomlison, 1 son, Johnny Estep, Jr. and 1 grandson, Frank Junior Briley.

Celebration of Life service for John will be Tuesday, August 23rd at 10:00 AM at Smith Family Funeral Home in Green Forest. Rev. Rick Smith will officiate. Visitation will be Monday, August 22nd from 5-7 PM at Smith Family Funeral Home in Green Forest.
