Judy Hess Obituary

Judy Victoria Hess, born on May 14, 1960, to Jean and Joe Lair in Placerville, CA, passed away comfortably at her home at the age of 62 on February 28, 2024, next to her husband.

She was known for her kind, loving, generous, beautiful, and outgoing personality.  Judy took pride in serving her community: from her first job at Goodwill to Salvation Army, Exxon, Harp’s, and Hatman’s. One of her greatest joys was serving the kids at Green Forest School every day. She enjoyed spending time with her family, Lucas Oil Speedway, and Wheatland, MO Sprint Cars, spending summer nights camping, singing karaoke, and dancing, the Cincinnati Bengals, westerns, WWF, and any sport other than basketball. Judy was a woman of strong faith and never shied away from a challenge. She met her husband Ron Hess just at the age of 11 at church. After reconnecting several years later, they got married and had been together for 22 beautiful years.

Judy is survived by her husband Ron Hess; sisters Deborah, Denise, and Delorise; daughter Nikki Cerra and fiancée Derick Conger; sons Clinton Milburn and wife Amanda, and Paul Wells and wife Corynn; grandchildren Ian, Sara, Madison, Michael, Lillian, Bayleigh, and Ally; great-grandchildren Orieon, Sylis, Wilder, and Beau.

She was preceded in death by her parents Jean and Joe Lair; brothers Joe Ed, Rueben, Kenney, Robert and George; and sisters Carrol and Cheryl.
