Lee White Obituary

Lee Allen White, “Bud”, went home with the Lord peacefully at Circle of Life Hospice in Bentonville, AR on October 1, 2024, at the age of 88. He was born January 15, 1936, in Ethel, MS, the middle child of Henry and Alice Bailey White.

Lee graduated from Ethel High School and enlisted in the Air Force and was honorably discharged to return home and help with the family farm. He was joined in holy matrimony to Mary Carolyn Adams on July 3, 1965, and they welcomed their only child, Leah, in May 1966. They moved from Mississippi to Colorado in 1971 and spent weekends exploring and camping in the Rocky Mountains.

Their first granddaughter, Savannah was welcome in August 1992 and her sister, Micaela, arrived in 1995. In 1996, Lee and Carolyn moved to Harrison, AR to be close to their daughter, son-in-law and granddaughters. Time in Arkansas was spent fishing, visiting the Buffalo River and driving the Ozarks, enjoying the sights.

Lee was a machinist by trade, working to fabricate airplane parts for a government contractor. After retirement he used his precision skills in woodworking, making many beautiful pieces for his wife, daughter and granddaughters. He and Carolyn attended church faithfully and loved to host dinners with friends in their home.

Lee is preceded in death by his parents, younger brother Alfred, and loving wife Carolyn. He is survived by his daughter Leah and husband Greg, granddaughters Savannah and Micaela, older sister Marguarite, and nephews Phillip and Keith.
