Linda Clark, age 76, of Green Forest, received her heavenly reward on Friday, November 24, 2023. She was born August 10, 1947, in Webb City, MO, the daughter of Clarence and Ruth Taylor Gage.
On September 16, 1966, Linda married the love of her life, Benjamin Clark. They served together in ministry throughout their life, including over 20 years at Bobo United Baptist Church. She also worked in various positions at Tyson’s through the years. She was very generous, reaching out to help those in need around her. She enjoyed collecting teapots and later in life began collecting frogs, with lots of frog things around the house. But most of all, she loved spending time with her family.
Linda is survived by her 2 children, daughter Janita Warfield and her husband Gary of Green Forest, and son Benjy Clark and his wife Jade of Kissee Mills, MO; 7 grandchildren, Taryn Clark, Elexis Clark, Grayson Clark, Lacey Snyder and her husband Arthur, Ethan Warfield and his wife Jenny, Peyton Warfield, and Emma Warfield; and 2 sisters, Wanda Henderson and Jean Thompson.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Benjamin Clark, parents Clarence and Ruth Gage, sister Judy Autry, brother Bob Gage, and brother Roy Gage.
Celebration of Life service for Linda will be Tuesday, November 28, at 2:00 PM at Smith Family Funeral Home in Green Forest with Pastor Jim Kelly officiating. Interment will follow at Farewell Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday, November 27, from 5-7 PM at the funeral home. Online condolences can be made at smithfamilyfuneralhome.net.
