Lioba Duran

Lioba Duran, age 91, of Berryville, AR passed away in her home, with her family by her side, on February 5, 2022. She was born September 18, 1930, in Queretaro, Mexico, daughter of Carmen Duran and Manuel Mejia.

Lioba loved spending time with her family and cooking. She began her day in the kitchen and worked from early till late making tortillas and other family favorites.

She leaves behind her surviving children Hilaria, Francisco, Socorro, Juana, Pablo, Apdon, Antonia, Luz Maria, Raquel, Guadalupe and Luis Uribe, also 40 grandchildren and many other family members and friends.

She is preceded in death by her husband Amado Uribe and one son, Felipe Uribe.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date.

Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to Smith Family Funeral Home in Green Forest.
