Lonnie D Horton

 Lonnie D. Horton, age 59, of Green Forest, AR passed away Thursday, June 6, 2019. He was born August 5, 1959 in Tulsa, OK son of the late James David and Judy (Deatherage) Horton.

Lonnie worked in the Coal Industry and various other jobs over the years. He was a talented artist and always kept a sketch pad close by. He liked dogs, learning about Native American culture,  collecting arrowheads and would spend hours hunting for artifacts with his metal detector. Lonnie never met a stranger and thought of everyone as his friend.

He is survived by one son, Richard Horton and wife of Wagoner, OK, daughter, Jackie Numair and husband of Green Forest, brothers, Richard Horton and wife of Green Forest, Timothy Ridenhor and one sister Randie Morgan, grandchildren, Seirra Horton, Ashton, McKensie, Americas, Weasly, Ismale and a number of nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents he is also preceded in death by one sister Lynn Hanawalt.

Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to Smith Family Funeral Home of Green Forest, AR.
