Loretta Lee Madewell Henson 54, of Berryville, AR, passed away Saturday, May 6, 2023. She was born May 31,1968, at Huntsville, AR, to Jimmy Frank Madewell and Vinnie Emitt Madewell (Collins.)
She married Jerry Dale Henson on August 30, 1991, at Liberty, AR. She loved working with her special kids at Green Forest Schools. She enjoyed gardening and crossword puzzles. She was a member of Marble United Baptist Church. Her favorite scripture was Psalm 23.
She was preceded in death by her dad Jimmy Frank Madewell; grandparents Roy and Agnes Madewell, and Luther and Gladyes Emitt; aunts and uncles Willie and Janette Madewell, James and Sharon Madewell, Alvin and Alto Madewell, Kenny Madewell, Ruby Madewell, Junita Madewell, Betty Emitt, John Emitt, Ray and Christian Emitt, and Mary and Floyd McMillian; nieces Kasandra Faye Vaughan and Fannie Belle Ramsey.
Survivors include her husband of 31 years, Jerry Dale Henson of Berryville; son Matthew James Henson (Amanda Gale) of Russellville; daughters Amanda Lynn Hood of Russellville and Tasha Dawn Toler (Rual) of Purty MO; grandchildren Zoe, Kaygyn, Hayden, Braxton, and Logan; mother Vinnie Collins and step-dad Ira Collins; sisters Linda Madewell of Berryville, Faye Vaughan (Doug) of Clifty, and Shelly Hudson (Tony) of Harrison; brother, David Madewell of Siloam Springs; sister, Stephanie of Siloam Springs; step-mom Georgette Madewell of Siloam Springs; many nieces, nephews, other family, and friends.
Celebration of Life Service for Loretta will be Saturday, May 13, 2023, 10:00 AM at Marble United Baptist Church, with Pastor Coy Siegrist officiating. Interment will follow at Liberty Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday, May 12, 2023, 5-7 PM at Marble United Baptist Church.
