Mateo Sinay Vasquez nació en Aldea La Esperanza, en Coatepeque, Quetzaltenango, Guatemala el 20 de Abril del año 1964 a sus padres Eleuterio Sinay y Olivia Vasquez. El crecio con 11 hermanos: Eluvia, Marina, Guadalupe, Carmelino, Iris, Magali, Henry, Carlos, Yanira, Olivia, y Migdalia.

El conoció al amor de su vida, Maribel, en la aldea San Francisco Julain: En Abril 7 del año 1983 se casaron y vivieron en Guatemala. Dios movió a la familia a México a vivir un par de años. Dios los regresó a Guatemala para empezar su familia donde sus dos hijos nacieron: Mateo Audias y Alonso Abisai.  

Mateo después fue llamado a los Estados Unidos a Los Ángeles. Meses después Maribel también lo siguió. Por una tragedia perdieron a sus dos primeros hijos. Pero por la voluntad de Dios, la familia continuó a crecer y fueron bendecidos con cuatro hijos más: Alonso, Claudia, Mateo, y Andy

En Marzo del 2006 la familia se vinieron para Arkansas donde Mateo se retiró. Dios siguió creciendo a la familia con nueras y yernos: Jaquelin, Juan, y Sydney. Dios bendijo a la familia con nietos: Miranda, Matias, y Catherine. 

El día 6 de Mayo a las 11 de la mañana Dios llamó a Mateo a su presencia y se fue de este mundo dejando a su esposa, hijos, nietos, y demás familia.

La Celebración de la Vida comenzará a las 7:00 p. m. el jueves 7 de mayo de 2026, en la Iglesia Templo Siloé, en Green Forest. El entierro tendrá lugar a las 12:00 p. m. el viernes 8 de mayo de 2026, en el Cementerio Glenwood.

 

Mateo Sinay Vasquez was born in the village of La Esperanza, in Coatepeque, Quetzaltenango, Guatemala, on April 20, 1964, to parents, Eleuterio Sinay and Olivia Vasquez. He grew up with eleven siblings: Eluvia, Marina, Guadalupe, Carmelino, Iris, Magali, Henry, Carlos, Yanira, Olivia, and Migdalia.

He met the love of his life, Maribel in the village of San Francisco Julain; On April 7, 1983, they were married and lived in Guatemala. The Lord moved the family to Mexico for a short time. God brought them back to Guatemala to raise a family. In Guatemala, two sons, Mateo Audias and Alonso Abisai were born.

Mateo was then called to the United States to Los Angeles. A few months later Maribel followed. Tragedy befelled the two sons. But with the Lord's grace the family continued to grow, and they were blessed with four more children: Alonso, Claudia, Mateo, and Andy.

In March 2006, the family moved to Arkansas where Mateo retired. The family continued to grow with children-in-law: Jaquelin, Juan, and Sydney. God blessed the family again with grandchildren; Miranda, Matias and Catherine.

On May 6th, at 11:00 a.m., God called Mateo into His presence, and he departed from this world, leaving behind his wife, children, grandchildren, and the rest of the family.

Celebration of Life will start at 7:00 PM, Thursday, May 7, 2026, at Iglesia Templo Siloe Church in Green Forest. Burial will be 12:00 PM, Friday, May 8, 2026, at Glenwood Cemetery.
