Mia Richardson, age 78, of Berryville, AR, passed away May 12, 2026. She was born (Mildred Mae Goldsmith), May 2, 1948, in Harrison, AR, daughter of Arthur and Dora McComb Goldsmith.

Mia graduated High School, in 1965, in Leon Kansas. She worked as a hairdresser most of her life and had owned her own restaurant at one time. After moving to Carroll County, she worked as a probation officer for Carrol County then managed the Tobacco Store in Green Forest.  Mia’s hobbies were fishing, tending to her beautiful yard displays and shopping garage sales. She especially loved going to garage sales with her long-time friend, Ruby Hill. She will lovingly be remembered as a second mother to many.

Mia is survived by her children, Tommy Ray Taylor and wife Tina of Berryville, Brent Belt of Alpena, and Wendy Belt, sisters, Leota Johnson of Oklahoma, Imagene Haskins of Oklahoma, brother Floyd Goldsmith, friend, Ruby Hill, several grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents, son Marvin Tilley, brothers, Gilman Dunlap, Albert Goldsmith, half- brother Lee Goldsmith and sister Slyvia Beverage.

Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to Smith Family Funeral Home of Green Forest., AR
