Neva Jean Woods

Neva Jean Woods, age 87 of Berryville, AR went to her Heavenly Home on Friday, September 25, 2020. She was born February 4, 1933 in the Metalton community, daughter of Avery and Lois (Hanby) Gage. Neva graduated High School at School Of The Ozarks. On May 19, 1952 she married the loved of her life Dale Woods.

After a number of years they bought a farm outside of Berryville. She worked side by side with Dale on their dairy farm and did whatever it took to make their farming business successful. Neva was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Her faith, family and church always came first. She was a member of the Church Of God Holiness in Berryville.

Neva is survived by her husband Dale of the home, son, Jerry Woods of Huntsville, grandsons, Shannon Woods and wife Melissa of Berryville, Dustin Woods of Berryville, great-grandchildren, Austin and Lexi.

She is preceded in death by her parents Avery and Lois Gage. 

Graveside service will be 2:00 PM Tuesday, September 29, 2020 at the Grandview Cemetery with Pastor Mark Pepple officiating. Interment will follow. Visitation will be 5-7 PM Monday, September 28, 2020 at Smith Family Funeral Home in Green Forest. Mask will be required for people attending the visitation.
