Patrcia McKenzie

Patricia Delores McKenzie was born May 11, 1953, to Fred and Dorothy McKenzie in Kansas City, MO. She passed away Wednesday, January 26, 2023.

Patricia fell in love with her life-long partner, Ronald Deertz, whom she had 4 kids with. They took up residence in Green Forest, AR. Patricia worked at Tyson’s where she would later retire from to become a stay-at-home grandma. Patricia’s favorite hobbies consisted of cheering for her favorite football team, GO CHIEFS! She loved reading books, doing crossword puzzles and giving her grandkids candy before dinner.

Patricia is survived by her 3 stooges, as she called them, Charles and his wife Tracy Deertz, Dawn McCoy, Jack Deertz and wife Heidi Deertz all from Green Forest; grandchildren, Nathan Deertz and wife Heather, Jessi Deertz and fiancé Nikkoli Williams, Fredrick Deertz and fiancé Sydnee Brockman, Leyton Deertz and wife Betsy Deertz, and Alvin Deertz; great grandchildren, Spencer, Acelyn, Kadee, Jace, Ivee, Dawson, Harper, Izzy, Annabelle, Huxley, and Frederick. Also surviving are her siblings, Lorna, Terry, Kay, and Larry, as well as many nieces, nephews, brother-in-laws and sister-in-laws.

She is preceded in death by her life-long partner, Ronald Deertz, daughter, Elaine Deertz, grandsons Eddie Deertz, great grandson Brayden Deertz, great granddaughters Chloe Deertz and Zoey Deertz, 1 sister, Pammy Fortman, 2 brothers Butch Jr. McKenzie and Jackie Lee McKenzie and brother-in-law Brad Cummings.

Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to Smith Family Funeral Home in Green Forest, AR.
