Patrick Brady

Patrick Michael Brady, age 73, of Berryville, AR, entered into the presence of His Lord and Savior on Tuesday, August 17, 2021.  The son of Robert and Marcellia Brady, he was born in San Bernardino, CA on February 22, 1948.  

Patrick was united in marriage to Phyllis Smith on December 24, 1989 and they relocated from California to Berryville in 2005.  He was veteran of the United States Marines, serving in the Vietnam War.  He was the recipient of the National Defense Service Medal, Vietman Campaign Medal w/Device, Vietnam Service Medal w/1 star, The Rifle Marksman Badge, Good Conduct Medal, Combat Action Ribbon, Pistol Sharpshooter Badge, and 3 Purple Heart Medals.  He was the owner of The Gunman of Arkansas gun shop north of Berryville.  He loved guns and he was passionate about teaching others, from concealed carry classes to learning the trade.  He enjoyed hunting and mowing his yard.  Most importantly, he loved his church and church family at Southern Heights Baptist Church.

Patrick is survived by his wife, Phyllis; brothers Jim (Gwen) Brady of Denver, Colorado, and Ivan Brady of Boston, Massachusetts; sister Kathy Ortega of Washington; nephew Tye Brady; nieces Shiera and Collene Brady Dragomir; special family Bill and Leeann Miracle, Taylor Miracle, Amanda Camacho and Shanin Gervais.  He was preceded in death by his parents.

Celebration of Life service for Patrick and his wife Phyllis will be Tuesday, August 24, 10 AM at Southern Heights Baptist Church in Berryville, with pastors Keith Moore and Brandon Pearce officiating.  Interment will follow at Berryville Memorial Park Cemetery.  Visitation will be Monday, August 23 from 5-7 PM at Southern Heights Baptist Church.
