Richard (Dick) Wolf

Richard “Dick” Turner Wolf, age 86 of Green Forest, passed away Friday, February 21st, 2020. He was born May 28th, 1933 in Rockne, Texas to Henry Wolf and Martha Wright Wolf.

After high school, Dick enlisted in the United States Air Force and served in the Korean conflict. He then graduated from Texas State University, and went on to work in the poultry industry for 36 years. After retirement from Butterball Turkey Company, he enjoyed traveling, riding his horses and managing his cattle.

Dick is survived by his wife, Mary Jo, of the home, one sister, Betty Fain of Texas, 2 sons, Dru and wife Kristen of Texas, Darrell and wife Lou Ann of Texas, 3 daughters, Dawn Underwood and husband Gregg of Texas, Pam Gotto and husband Bill of Green Forest, Lori Deckard and husband Greg of Green Forest. 15 grand children, Dalton Wolf and wife Sara, Tristan Wolf, Jessica Underwood, Dakota Underwood, Megan Molina, Cody Record and wife Courtney, Cole Wolf and wife Amber, Breanna Hudgins and husband CJ, Jarrett Wolf and wife Desiree, Bailey Wolf, Richard Wolf, Peyton Wolf all of Texas. Austin Lasater and wife Ashley of Rogers, Will Gotto and wife Christina of Mountain View, Kelsey Klatt and husband Justin of Green Forest. 19 great grandchildren, Jaylon, Ashlyn, Braeden, Grayson, Brinley, Justin, Jaidon, Raygen, Carsyn, Blake, Fancy all of Texas. Jackson and Jillian of Rogers, Mason, Kenzley and Rilynn of Green Forest, Zack, Dawson and Emma of Mountain View.

Along with his parents, Dick was preceded in death by 3 brothers, James, CB and Toby. And 1 sister, Margie Gehring all of Texas.

Celebration Of Service will be Sunday, February 23rd at 2:00 PM at Smith Family Funeral Home in Green Forest.  Bro. Alan Yarbrough will officiate. Visitation will follow the service.
