Ricky Lee Jones, age 62, of Green Forest, AR, passed away on Friday, March 7, 2025. He was born January 24, 1963, in Harrison, AR, son of Marvin and Dessie “Keys” Connell.

Ricky was a truck driver for many years and drove local and coast to coast. He had a Great Dane named BJ that was his best buddy for nearly 10 years. Ricky loved good food and all kinds of music, especially classic rock. He enjoyed making tapes and cd's for his family and friends of all their favorite music.

He is survived by sister, Kathy White and her husband Ronnie of Oak Grove, AR, one brother Barry Connell of Green Forest, AR 

Sister, Deanna Snyder and husband Bruce of Green Forest, AR, nephews, Aaron White and wife Nina of Oak Grove AR, Brandon White and wife Lindsey of Sallisaw OK, niece Kaileigh Walker and husband Riley of Green Forest AR, and 3 great nephews and a great niece.

He is preceded in death by his father Marvin Connell and his mother Dessie Connell.

Celebration of Life Memorial service will be 10:00 AM Thursday, March 13, 2025, at Smith Family Funeral Home in Green Forest. Pastor Joe Summers will officiate. Interment will follow at a later date.
