Rita Stark

Rita Carmen Stark, age 74, of Green Forest, AR passed away in her home on Friday, March 27, 2020. She was born July 10, 1945 in Harrison, AR daughter of Judson and Agnes (Smith) McCullough.

Rita grew up in Hopewell, AR and in her childhood loved playing with her cousins on the farm.  She graduated from Bergman High School in 1963 and on April 17, 1964 she married the love of her life Donald Stark. They made their home in Green Forest and lived there the rest of their lives.

Rita was a hairdresser, worked with Don at the Conoco DX Filling Station in Green Forest, owned Green Forest Flower Shop, worked at Flora Craft Flower Shop and later worked as a dental and office assistance for Dr. Niles Rains.   Rita loved people and was blessed with a great sense of humor and humility. She loved camping and taking trips with family and friends.

Rita is survived by her daughters, Shelley Doyle of Green Forest and Brooke Reynolds and husband Joseph of Greenwood, AR, grandchildren: Nicole Widner and husband Jessi of Green Forest, Devyn Doyle, Audrey Reynold both of Greenwood, Brandon Doyle of Benton, Cory Doyle of LA and great-grandchildren Mikhail Fritz and Juniper Widner.

She is preceded in death by her parents and her husband of 52 years, Donald Stark.

  Celebration Of Life Memorial will be 10:00 AM Saturday, July 11, 2020 at Smith Family Funeral Home in Green Forest with Pastor Jerry Spurlock officiating.

Seating will be limited to 60 people, and mask must be worn by anyone over 10 years of age.
