Roberta Miller

Roberta Miller, age 92, of Green Forest, AR passed away Tuesday, May 7, 2024, in Broken Arrow, OK. She was born March 22, 1932, in Colony, KS, daughter of George Daily and Agnes Belle (Shockey) Chatterton.

Roberta graduated from Green Forest High School in1950. On March 7, 1953, she was united in marriage with Paul Dean Miller. During her working career she was employed as a secretary for Green Forest Public Schools. Roberta was known for her willingness to help anyone. She enjoyed photography, genealogy, gardening and organizing any, and everything. She loved taking pictures at family gatherings and of every event.  Most of all, Roberta loved her Lord, her family, and her church.

She is survived by her daughter Roberta DeAnne Miller Parrish of Nixa, MO, son Paul Greg Miller and wife Kathy of Jenks, OK, sister Earlene Chatterton Allen of Broken Arrow, sister Ramona Chatterton Wilson and husband Butch of Berryville, “grandson” Sam Wilson of Eureka Springs, “granddaughter” Becky Wilson Tharp and husband Micah and “great-grandson” Gavin Tharp of Green Forest, granddaughter Ashley Miller Robbins and husband Dr. Hal Robbins, and great-grandchildren Liv, Luke, Liam and Lucy Robbins of Jenks, OK, grandson  Paul Aaron Miller and wife Kayla, great-grandson Paul Nolan Miller of Sapulpa, OK, foster daughter Barbara Hardy of Denton, TX, and numerous nieces, nephew, cousins and family members.

She was preceded in death by her husband Paul Dean Miller, parents George and Agnes Chatterton, brother Charles Ellis Chatterton and sister Elizabeth Chatterton Vaden.

Celebration Of Life Service will be 2:30 PM, Saturday, May 11, 2024, at Green Forest United Methodist Church. Interment will follow at Gobbler Cemetery. Visitation will be 1:00-2:30 PM before the service.
